Our Story
Abu Dhabi By Foot was founded on a simple but powerful belief: the finest way to understand a city is to walk it slowly, deliberately, and with someone who truly knows its stories.
Our founders (a historian, an architect, and a lifelong UAE resident) created this company after years of leading friends and family through the city’s greatest experiences and repeatedly hearing the same response: why isn’t this available to everyone?
Today, we work with a carefully selected network of expert guides and cultural specialists to offer private walking tours that are among the most intellectually enriching and personally memorable experiences available in the UAE.
What We Believe
A city reveals itself on foot
Abu Dhabi cannot be experienced from the window of a coach. Its most extraordinary places: the hidden courtyards, the galleries, the mosques, the neighbourhoods where Emirati life actually unfolds. This require time, proximity, and the right guide. Walking is not simply the method of our tours. It is the philosophy behind them.
